Come Celebrate Years of Fun at the Jackson County Fair
Thanks for visiting our 2013 Jackson County Fair...Web Site
We hope you have a GREAT TIME!
People come to the fair to view the youth and adult exhibits; for entertainment; food and socializing. So if you're planning to attend the fair this year, why don't you consider entering one or more exhibits? The more exhibits, the better the fair!
The Fair book is divided into two parts - OPEN CLASS which is for adults or those not affiliated with an organization (found in the front portion of the book); and JUNIOR FAIR which is open to 4-H, FFA, FHA, or any Youth Group (found in the middle of the Fair Book).
For OPEN CLASS, look over the Fair Book, then use the OPEN CLASS ENTRY BLANK. Fill it out
correctly and bring it, or mail it, to the University Extension Office, along with $7.00 entry fee, by June 30, 2013 Do not bring entries before dates and times listed below.
The Agricultural Society staff will do the paper work involved and make out your Entry Tags. Entry tags
state your name and address; your Department, Class and Item number and you will tie, staple or tape it to your item. Tags must be picked up at the UWEX office between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. the week before the fair opening or at the fair work night. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR TAGS BEFORE THE
FIRST DAY OF THE FAIR.
